The Female Teacher Who Fights Back - Chapter 28
Chapter 28 An Exceptional Class 1
Riding her bicycle to Sheng Tian Academy, Wu Lang first went to the cafeteria to help out and incidentally fill her stomach after starving all night. Afterward, following Auntie Lin’s directions, she found Room 203 in Teaching Building B.
Stepping into the room just as the early self-study bell rang, about twenty-some students were seated inside the spacious, bright classroom. Looking across the room, there were noticeably fewer girls than boys, though Ou Wenji’s pure white uniform was undoubtedly the most eye-catching among them.
“Hello everyone, I am your new head teacher, Wu Lang.” With that, Wu Lang wrote her name on the blackboard behind her in a flowing, wild cursive style.
“Wu Liang (Unscrupulous)? Hey, are you kid—” Before the boy could finish his sentence, he was struck in the forehead by a half-piece of chalk held in Wu Lang’s hand, causing him to instantly yell out in pain. Goodness, it was just half a piece of chalk, so why did it hurt so much?
Opening the class roster placed on the podium, Wu Lang rapidly scanned through the student photos and information inside. Surprisingly, there were a few exceptionally familiar faces among them…
“Next, I will begin roll call. Please raise your hand and shout ‘here’ when your name is called.”
“Teacher, we aren’t kindergarten children, there’s no need for such exaggeration, right?” The boy who was just attacked by the chalk spoke out in discontent, rubbing the large swollen bump on his forehead.
Her eyebrows raised slightly at the corners, and Wu Lang replied expressionlessly: “Student Zhong Xiaole, you may remain silent, but every word you say will be treated as if I never heard it.”
“You—” As the son of a telecommunications mogul, Zhong Xiaole had never suffered such humiliation in front of others. Just as he was about to slam his desk and stand up to teach this ignorant teacher a lesson, he was held back by a friend beside him.
“Ah Le, Little Langlang is new here and bound to be a bit uncomfortable and nervous. As students, we should be more understanding.” Hua Quqin propped his arm on the desk, resting his chin on his hand. Although he appeared to be coming to the woman’s rescue, his words were full of mockery.
“Uncomfortable? Nervous?” Zhong Xiaole’s mouth twitched violently, thinking to himself that he felt the woman on the podium was the most indifferent person in the entire classroom…
Ignoring his friend’s exaggerated reaction, Hua Quqin continued: “Ah Le, you don’t understand. Because Little Langlang will be able to admire this Great Handsome’s heroic posture anytime and anywhere from now on, she’s so excited she doesn’t know what expression to make!”
In the next moment, Wu Lang picked up the eraser from the podium and threw it at lightning speed toward that punchable, flamboyant peacock. Because Hua Quqin was completely unprepared, he was hit dead-on.
“Hey, why are you hitting people?” Seeing this, Zhong Xiaole and several other boys glared at the woman.
Yet, she maintained her emotionless expression, saying flatly: “My apologies, I was too excited just now and my hand slipped. Also, I never hit people.” It seemed the flamboyant peacock with a head of golden curly hair was indeed not the same species as the rest of the people seated here…
“Holy shit, you woman are way too arrogant, actually daring to hurl insults at the Great Handsome Hua!” The boys were so enraged they rolled up their sleeves. Had Vice President Ou Wenji not been sitting in the front row, there was no guarantee they wouldn’t rush up to beat the woman up and show her why flowers are so red!
However, Hua Quqin, the person involved, simply patted the chalk dust off his face and still smiled extraordinarily brightly: “As the saying goes, ‘hitting is affection, scolding is love.’ I didn’t expect you to have such deep feelings for me, Little Langlang!”
