The Female Teacher Who Fights Back Chapter 36

Chapter 36: A Special Lesson 3

"Zhong Xiaole: Chinese Language and Literature 58, Higher Algebra 34, English 48..." Relying on her photographic memory, Wu Lang recalled the final grades of every student from the previous semester with ease.

Although students could check their scores on the academic portal using their student IDs and the school publicly posted the total scores of the top hundred students, having them recited aloud before the entire campus was deeply humiliating. To make matters worse, a certain unscrupulous woman added her own evaluation at the end: "Mhm, Student Zhong Xiaole's grades are a bit low, but look on the bright side—it proves this student is exceptionally patriotic."

"Hua Quqin: International Economics 89, Financial Markets 92, Commercial Bank Operation and Management 91... The scores are decent, but it's a pity he brought his brain and forgot his sanity when filling out the paper. Because he wrote his name as 'Great Handsome Hua,' he had to take makeup exams over the break."

"Fu Wanzi: Financial Engineering 60, Financial Technical Analysis 59, Foreign Monetary and Financial Theories 61... They say big chests have no brains, but why does it look like small chests don't have brains either?"

In the blink of an eye, Wu Lang had offended the majority of the wealthy and powerful families represented at the school. Thinking of something, she raised an eyebrow and recited: "Ou Wenji: Financial Markets 100, English 100, Higher Algebra 50... Tsk tsk, as expected of the Kendo Club captain and the women's individual champion—a classic case of all brawn and no—"

BANG—

That poor door could not escape the fate of being kicked open after all. Before Wu Lang could finish, Ou Wenji, the Vice President of the Student Union, charged in wielding a long blade with murderous aura radiating from her whole body.

Judging by her attire, she had been practicing kendo upstairs when Wu Lang started broadcasting, which explained how she arrived so quickly. Fortunately, Hua Quqin rushed over and selflessly restrained his cousin from going on a full rampage, narrowly averting bloodshed.

Satisfied that she had achieved her goal, Wu Lang instructed Qing Mo to turn off the broadcast and leisurely headed downstairs. Just as she had predicted, dozens of "intensely excited" eyes were fixed on her—including Director Liu, who had come to demand answers; Li Hao, who was worried for her; and Luo Ditian, who was purely there to enjoy the spectacle.

"Hey, is something wrong with your eyes? What do you mean by 'small chests have no brains'?" To prove her point, Fu Wanzi puffed out her chest as she spoke.

Yet Wu Lang replied with complete composure: "Student Fu Wanzi, compared to a watermelon, it is indeed very small. However, it doesn't affect your cranial capacity, since brain volume is determined at birth and won't increase no matter how hard you try. So, accept my condolences."

"You—" Defeated once again, Fu Wanzi turned red in the face with veins bulging on her neck, entirely unable to find a counterargument. Getting into a war of words with this woman was a terrible decision to begin with.

Nearby, Director Liu kept a stern expression and demanded aggressively: "Teacher Wu, can you offer a reasonable explanation for your actions just now?"

"Explain what?"

"Why did you use the school's broadcast system without authorization?"

"Does a teacher using the school's broadcast system require leadership approval?"

"This..." Momentarily caught off guard, Director Liu found herself tongue-tied. Refusing to lose face, she held her head high and forced out: "Although the school has no explicit regulation on this, your behavior disrupted the normal teaching order. Therefore, I have the right to petition the principal for your dismissal!"
